The VP Strategy & amp amp Ops (S& amp amp O) is a critical role, where the candidate will be partnering closely with the cofounders and leadership team to build, and execute, a strategic roadmap to drive Zapr Media Labs growth in India over the next few years. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of business scaling revenues rapidly, growing the user base, ensuring seamless campaign ad-ops execution, as well as fostering and growing key relationships with senior management of partner brands and agencies. The VP S& amp amp O will oversee the performance of the revenue team as well as the ad-ops team and have a close working relationship with the engineering, product and publisher acquisition teams. They would need to quickly develop a strong sense for the pulse of the business and propose creative pricing strategies as well as product strategies to further strengthen our competitive moat, while simultaneously growing our client base and business volumes. Additionally, they will be leading the Go-To-Market efforts for all new product launches. This role is also intended to evolve into the GM India role over the following 18 - 24 months, depending on the performance of the candidate. Background: The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of operating experience, with significant P& amp amp L responsibility and significant people management responsibilities.& amp nbsp They would be an alum from a prestigious management consulting firm, with 5+ years of prior strategy consulting experience.& amp nbsp They must have an MBA from a top tier business school in India or abroad, or an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as engineering, statistics, mathematics, etc. Further experience with a startup or a hands-on senior management role with a corporate, will be a strong advantage.& amp nbsp The candidate must demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving and be comfortable with using data to drive decisions. They should be incredibly detail oriented and have a very strong bias towards operating with discipline and building efficient organizational structures and processes. This however must be balanced with ensuring all teams remain lean and highly agile. Most importantly however, they must understand the importance of executing rapidly and getting things done. Finally, the candidate must demonstrate a high level of empathy and outstanding teamwork, inter-personal skills and communication skills. Compensation: Competitive with tier-1 industry standards
